The exempt market is not a simple product category — it is a broad universe of private capital structures, each with distinct risk profiles, liquidity characteristics, and return mechanics. My job is not to present every available deal. It is to present the ones that have passed a rigorous review and that are genuinely suited to each client's circumstances.
Before any offering reaches a client conversation, I review the offering memorandum in full, assess the issuer's track record, and form an independent view of whether the risk-return profile makes sense. I decline more deals than I accept. That discipline is the foundation of what Corvax Financial is built on.
I invest my own capital in the same opportunities I recommend to clients. The alignment is structural, not theoretical.
My background spans over 15 years across investment operations, compliance, investor relations, and financial services in Alberta's private capital market.
I currently serve as Manager, Investment Operations & Platform Implementation at Axcess Capital Advisors Inc, in addtion to my role as a Dealing Representative.
Prior to that, I spent four years as a Compliance & Operations Analyst at a Calgary-based Portfolio Manager and exempt market issuer, and a year as Trust & Investment Coordinator at a private family office — roles that deepened my understanding of private capital structures, regulatory obligations, and the operational mechanics of investment vehicles.
Earlier in my career I spent nine years at one of the largest private real estate exempt market issuers in Canada, progressing from client services, to operations into an investor relations management role. Working directly with investors across the continent on private real estate and land development structures gave me a ground-level view of how exempt market products perform across a full market cycle — and what investors actually need from the people presenting those opportunities to them. Prior to that I worked in retail banking at a major Canadian bank.
Before university I completed a year of volunteer service through Katimavik, a national volunteer program — an experience that shaped how I think about community and long-term commitment.
I hold a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and apply process discipline to how Corvax Financial operates — because rigour in operations is as important as rigour in due diligence.

We limit the number of offerings we present and the number of clients we work with. Depth of relationship and quality of analysis cannot coexist with high volume.
If an investment is not right for you, we will tell you. If we would not invest our own capital in it, we will not ask you to. That is the standard we hold ourselves to.
The raven plans ahead and holds information across time. We think about capital allocation the same way — with patience, pattern recognition, and a long horizon.
If you are an accredited or eligible investor in Alberta looking for access to private market opportunities, reach out. There is no obligation — just a straightforward conversation about whether we are a fit.
